System Engineer - Technical Account Manager (New York, NY)
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support throughout the sales product delivery cycle including product presentations and demonstrations.
- Develop and implement technical sales strategies.
- Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations.
- Provide post-sales service on product installs and upgrades.
- Work with sales team to provide relevant customer feedback to the product/service development process.
- Lead efforts to deliver customized solutions to meet customers' needs.
- Work directly with customers in the sales and account management process.
Requirements:
- BSEE or equivalent required
- 3+ years of pre-sales support
- 3+ years of storage experience including SANs, NAS, storage management, back-up/recovery
- 3+ years experience with UNIX, Linux, NT/Windows server and IP Network
- Ability to work effectively and as a valued team member
- Strong presentation, communications and customer management skills required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently as a valued team member.
- Ability to develop relationships and demonstrate value at many different levels within customer organizations to include technical engineering and executives.
